Came in for a late lunch after too long at the Bushplane Heritage Museum and there were just a couple other tables but this seems more of a touristy sport night spot so what ever. The nightclub is currently closed but there is a working golf simulator next door...
Meeted, greeted, and seated straight away, fished and chipped shortly afterward. In between I took a gander out the window at the St Mary's; not much has changed in 20 years except the name and the giant bronze moose has been removed.
The food came out large and hot in a basket, fish was light and flaky, breading crisp and crunchy, slaw bright and cabbagey, but fries were a little limp.
All in all a good little basket of food in a pleasant setting at a reasonable price. When the weather breaks the patio should be rocking, until then it is just a tease.
